Nourish Me: Integrated Wellness Conversations

The Nourish Me Podcast is how humans live well in a modern world. A space for real conversations about what it means to live, lead, and be present in today’s digitally distracted world.
Hosted by JoAnne Pavin—integrative wellness practitioner, speaker, author of The Meal and founder of JP Integrated Wellness—this show explores the intersection of health, identity, and human connection.
Through honest, thought-provoking conversations with experts, leaders, and everyday humans, we go beyond surface-level wellness to uncover what truly nourishes us—physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
Together, we explore how to:
👉 optimize your energy through food, movement, mindset, and rest
👉 engage your five senses and reconnect with nature
👉 navigate identity, stress, and personal transformation
👉 cultivate presence, creativity, and meaningful connection
From redefining beauty, performance, and balance to navigating the complexities of modern life, each episode invites you to slow down, reflect, and reconnect.
Because in a world that’s moving faster than ever, your greatest advantage is still being human if you slow down to experience it.
This show doesn’t feed you information, it Nourishes you.

Can flowers heal us? Can nature help us rediscover who we really are?
In this inspiring episode of Nourish Me, JoAnne Pavin visits Peaceful Petals Flower Farm in Marengo, Illinois, to spend the day with founder Stephanie Khoury, who courageously left a successful corporate marketing career to follow a calling that transformed her life.
Together, we explore how slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and trusting the seasons of life can lead us back to purpose, joy, and true well-being. Surrounded by thousands of blooming flowers, we talk about:
🌸 Leaving corporate burnout behind to pursue a meaningful life
🌿 Why nature is one of our greatest forms of medicine
🌼 The healing power of flowers, gardening, and being fully present
💛 Redefining success beyond titles, money, and achievement
🌱What a tiny flower seed can teach us about resilience, growth, and becoming who we were always meant to be
🦋 How the garden mirrors our own lives—from planting and pruning to blooming and letting go
The Short Story of a Flower Seed
A tiny flower seed holds everything it needs within itself to become something beautiful. It doesn't look like much-small, fragile, often forgotten in the soil. But inside that humble shell is the entire blueprint for a bloom. It waits in darkness. It rests in stillness. And when the time is right-when conditions align with care, warmth, water, and light-it begins to break open. Not because something's wrong... but because that's how it grows. It pushes through the dirt, toward light it has never seen, trusting something within is guiding it. And eventually, it blooms. Fully. Wildly. Gently. Not because it became something else, but because it became what it already was.

The episode concludes with a short guided breathing practice to help you step away from the digital rabbit hole and reconnect with yourself.

This June marks a special milestone—the third anniversary of the Nourish Me Podcast! 🎉
What began as a simple mission to inspire people to get off their screens, reconnect with nature, and cultivate deeper relationships has grown into a global community of listeners in more than 40 countries. Thank you for being part of this journey!
This episode explores one of the most powerful tools we have for improving our energy, mental health, and overall well-being: CONNECTION.
In this episode, you’ll learn: • Why connection may be our greatest human advantage in an AI-driven world • How intentional breathing helps regulate the nervous system and improve focus • The surprising health benefits of sharing meals and gathering around the table • Why “green time” may be one of the most effective forms of self-care available • Simple ways to reconnect with yourself, others, and nature this summer
My challenge to you this month:
✓ Take a daily breath break
Grab your free Breathwork Guide here: https://joannepavin.myflodesk.com/breathworkguide
✓ Share one intentional meal each week
✓ Spend more time in nature and less time on screens
Because while technology continues to advance, our ability to connect—with ourselves, each other, and the natural world—remains one of the most important predictors of a healthy, meaningful life.
As John Lennon said, “Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.”
This summer, don’t miss it.
Thank you for listening, sharing, and supporting Nourish Me for the past three years.
Stay nourished,
JoAnne

In this episode, JoAnne is joined by her lifelong friend, Kelly Stobart—an incredibly talented stylist, educator, and creative force in the beauty industry with over 35 years of experience. Kelly’s journey has taken her from some of Chicago’s most prestigious salons to international training with the most respected names in the industry, including Vidal Sassoon and the legendary Oribe Canales. Her work has even extended to styling for runway shows in Paris and New York, bringing a global perspective to everything she does.
But beyond her impressive credentials, Kelly brings something even more powerful to her work—a deep understanding that what happens behind the chair is about far more than hair. It’s about connection, healing, creativity, and helping people feel seen.
In the upcoming episode we talk about self-care for caregivers, energy exchange, burnout, healing rituals, creativity, and why taking care of yourself first is essential if you want to truly serve others. This is an inspiring conversation about resilience, friendship, feminine wisdom, and the kind of transformation that happens from the inside out.
