Cindi holds a Master’s degree in counseling and education andhas helped thousands of families overcome difficult circumstances and transform their life situations.
Cindi can be heard as a regularly featured guest on numerous television stations, podcasts and radio shows spreading messages of joyful living. She can also be seen spreading joy on numerous stages, from churches, corporations, and schools. Cindi leads workshops and trainings which have included large companies and nonprofits from Michaels to Wounded Warriors, and Fortune 100 companies such as Amazon and TikTok. Cindi was recently recognized as a “Woman to Watch in 2023” and by LinkedIn as one of their top lead content creators, and has a large following of engaged supporters.  Conversation Summary:
Cindy Cohn and JoAnne met a year ago on a Zoom call and became fast friends. They share a deep connection, faith, and attitude towards life. Cindy wrote a book called "More Joy" that inspired her to create the More Joy community online.
The community focuses on embodying joy and supporting each other through weekly meetings with speakers and support groups. Laughter is an important aspect of finding joy in life, as kids laugh much more than adults do. Connecting with your inner child can bring more joy into your life.
The speaker discusses the importance of sharing content on platforms like LinkedIn and the positive impact it can have on people's lives. They also talk about their plans to bring more joy to their community by addressing various aspects of well-being, such as mental, physical, and occupational health.
Cindi shares actionable tips for cultivating joy, including getting off social media, giving and serving others, and slowing down. They emphasize the significance of forgiveness and unconditional love in finding deep inner joy.
Cindy mentions the power of words and how they can either uplift or wilt someone. She shares experiments involving plants and rice that demonstrate the impact of positive and negative energy. Cindy directs listeners to her website, LinkedIn, and Amazon for more resources. She emphasizes the importance of community support and offers coaching services. When managing social media, Cindy sets specific times for engagement to maintain balance in her personal life. She is known as the "Queen of Joy" on LinkedIn. Cindy receives a broken cup as a symbol that joy can still exist even with imperfections in life.Â
The key takeaway is that joy is found in the journey and progress rather than perfection. Cindy nourishes herself through morning rituals and plans to spend time with company over the weekend to spread joy to others. It is important to refill one's cup regularly, including by connecting with supportive individuals like JoAnne (the host). They end their discussion with a guided joy meditation for listeners before bidding farewell.  Connect with Cindi at www.cindicohn.comOn Linked In at Linked In Cindi CohnBuy her book, MORE JOY on Amazon: MORE JOY BOOK
